The Congress of North American Bosniaks is shocked by the news that the Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to Peter Handke, an open genocide denier.
The decision by the Nobel Prize committee to award Peter Handke with such a prestigious award is moronic and shameful in the times of rising authoritarianism and hate around the world. Peter Handke is an author who used his fame to publicly support war criminals and planners of genocide and ethnic cleansing, including Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic and Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic. Peter Handke published and spoke using falsehoods, lies, and promoted hatred, questioning documented and prosecuted war crimes against Bosniaks.
The Congress of North American Bosniaks fervently condemn the decision by the Nobel Committee on Literature.
